Alpha Works is a multi use flexible workspace nestled high up in the iconic Alpha Tower with unrivalled views of the city, fabulous facilities and a thriving community. We provide full venue hire, meeting rooms, large spaces, hot/cold drinks, AV and more to help your event run smoothly. We can cater for day and night and even weekend bookings to suit all types of lovely Yuup hosts. Our creative hub has played host to a multitude of events, filming, painting workshops and so much more so why not get in touch and take a tour of your new event space!

The Anson Rooms can be used as a large, versatile, blank canvas space for private events. Whether it’s for a conference, wedding, exhibition or party. Benefiting from copious natural light, the Anson Rooms is flexible, accommodating various layouts. The space is 541sq.m and can seat 500 theatre style, 230-250 cabaret style or 1150 for a standing performance. The space will also accommodate 40 trade stands.

The Anson Rooms Bar is situated adjacent to the Anson Rooms providing it with a bar for all manner of events. Complete with extending partitions it can be opened up as part of the main Anson Rooms space or closed for more intimate events. Equipped with its own small stage and lighting it is ideal for talks, open mic and comedy nights. Also available during the day and with a built in projector and screen it is the perfect break out space for conferences and away days. The bar can be opened on request and is subject to a minimum spend. The space is 168sq.m, can seat 100 theatre style, 45 banquet or cabaret style and 120 standing.

Artigo is located right within the heart of Gloucester Road, Bishopston. We offer various options for artists, craft-makers and other creatives to showcase their work and share their skills and experience. Our dedicated Exhibition room is located on the ground floor offering 24 linear metres of white wall hanging space with continuous picture rails all around the room and 30m² of floor space to display free-standing pieces with display plinths and tables available on request. The space enjoys plenty of natural light plus further spot track lights are also installed. Artigo has a street level entrance and plenty of space to move around even with buggies, making it a breeze to visit even for wheelchair users. What we offer - gallery space hire and workshop space - display fittings, rail wires, tables and plinths plus help with installation and hanging of your artwork - in-store promotion via shop window display (L)170x(W)60cm, for the duration of the exhibition and an A-board display outside the shop included in the hire - online promotion on our website and via social media (Facebook, Instagram)

We're a cosy and inviting cafe-laundrette, perfectly suited to small classes and intimate gatherings. Small kitchen facilities and toilet on site, one large cafe space with plenty of tables and chairs to arrange to suit you.

An intimate, acoustically designed taphouse bar that seats 45 with a maximum capacity of 65. Rustic wood, barrels and pagan themed decor. Suitable for live music, seminars, comedy and other activities that may require a stage. PA set available.

Boujon Bakery is a beautiful high street premises on Gloucester Road. It is modern, rustic and a light space which includes a small commercial kitchen attached to a studio/workshop area at the front of the shop and a WC. The kitchen is kitted out with an oven, 4 stainless steel tables, a fridge, a mixer, a plug-in hob and a sink for you to use. We sadly do not hire our space out to any meat based businesses as we are a bakery and do not want to risk the cross-contamination. The studio area at the front comprises of a table and 2 benches that seat 10 people in total and make for an intimate workshop/meeting/supper club. As a lovely centrepiece above the table, there is a beam hanging off the ceiling with various shape and height bulbs hanging from it. Depending on what you would like to use the space for, we may have everything you need or you're welcome to bring what else you need as well. During the day we operate as a bakery preparing pre-ordered biscuits for our customers, as well as teaching various Biscuit Decorating Master Classes but are looking to hire out the space whilst the bakery is not in use so please do contact us if you're interested with your specific dates and details!

Launched in 1843, the SS Great Britain is a truly unique venue for any event. Set in her original 19th century dockyard which is now an award-winning museum and visitor attraction, the SS Great Britain provides the perfect backdrop for a wide range of events. Small meetings to large conferences can all be accommodated in our state of the art rooms with versatile spaces above and below deck. The ship also offers fine dining in grand style in the elegant and refined First Class Dining Saloon, the perfect setting for evening events. Once admired by Queen Victoria, this opulent dining area features marbled pillars, rococo mirrors and gold leaf detailing. Outdoor events are also well catered for with various options available including our weather deck which commands one of the region’s most striking views of Bristol Cathedral and Cabot tower. The ship's location in the heart of Bristol’s harbour makes the deck the perfect spot for summer drinks receptions. Holding your event with us also us means you are supporting us as a charity and protecting one of the most important historic ships in the world.

Music rehearsal and recording studios, with a 13x6m live room with stage, lighting and performance equipment. We also provide recording facilities with a vocal booth.

This is a large open-plan room named after women’s equality campaigner Mary Carpenter. It is a multipurpose space with lots of natural light. Perfect for small conferences, breakout sessions and large meetings it comes equipped with built in “plug and play” projector, screen and speakers. Please note that this space is not available for hire during academic term time. The space is 325.6sq.m and has a maximum capacity of 200. It can seat 200 theatre style, 100 boardroom style, 200 cabaret style and can accommodate 21 trade stands.

Above my shop, I have a craft workshop space which seats 12 people comfortably.

A beautifully crafted roundhouse overlooking Chew Valley Lake, in the grounds of an organic veg farm. Built by a local craftsperson using traditional, green woodworking methods and natural materials, it sits alongside a pond with a large outdoor shelter and garden. This fabulous facility, complete with living roof, features a handmade, bespoke kitchen and a toasty wood burner. A uniquely special, social space in the great outdoors.

The kitchens are fully equipped with all that you will need to run a pop up restaurant space, a venue hire for a community group or a kitchen space to rent for any of your foodie needs, whatever they may be, ready to be hired for any food based projects. The space is set up for catering, food production, running workshops, team building events or just making a meal when you have too many friends or family to fit in your home! Room Sizes: 1st Kitchen 1 8.15 m x 4.5 m, 2nd Kitchen 2 3 m x 3.1 m. Disabled facilities and a garden for summer BBQs. Kitchen hire facilities: high speed wireless internet, 4 induction hobs (with 4 rings each), 1 gas range (with 5 gas rings), 4 electric ovens, 4 washing up sinks, 1 hand wash sink, fridge/freezer (for day use), adjustable worktops for children and disabled adults, commercial dishwasher, plus all the pots and pans, cooking and baking utensils that you will need to cook and eat.

The space is light, ventilated with beautiful fittings and all the amenities needed for most things (electricity, mini kitchen facilities, a loo, and even a wood burner!) The space comfortably fits 16 people for desk top style work... but we have facilities to add more tables/chairs if more space is needed. We’ve recently opened a pottery painting area which has a well stocked café with lovely coffee and cake available for purchase.

High street studio. 50m2 of workshop space plus kitchen and bathroom. Flexible workbench arrangements, loads of waist height sockets, great light and dark mode for screen based presentations.

This sprung floored activity space is equipped with floor-length mirrors and a barre. Offering swathes of natural light, the dance studio is an ideal rehearsal space for a range of activities. Please note that this space is not available for weekend or evening hire during academic term time. The space is 75.2sq.m and has a maximum capacity of 25 people for physical activities. No tables or chairs, or built-in tech are available in this space.
