You don't need to be a long-distance runner or a gym bunny to get the most out of your body!
There isn't one ideal body size or shape that everyone should have, and everyone should be able to enjoy all the benefits that exercise provides without feeling uncomfortable or like their body isn't beautiful. Inclusive exercise means that you can enjoy fitness without being a lean weight-lifting machine!
Here are some casual and fun fitness experiences that will get the endorphins pumping whilst boosting your body confidence:
1. Beginners Iyengar Yoga
Not very flexible and terrible at balancing? Iyengar yoga is perfect for you if you aren't very good at the skills one traditionally associates with yoga.
This form of yoga uses props and supports to help you get into positions and maintain them comfortably, which means that it's perfect for older bodies, those with physical limitations, or people with absolutely no yoga experience!

2. Havana nights dance masterclass
A fitness class that comes with cocktails and dessert? That's more like it!
Join Abelardo as he introduces you to the sensual flavours of Cuba. Enjoy three different types of traditional music and dance (salsa, Reggaeton, and Afro-Cuban) with a Cuban mojito and a slice of traditional Cuban dessert made by Abelardo himself.
You don't need to be good at dancing to do this experience and you'll pick up rhythm and moves as you go.

3. Nordic walking in Ashton Court
Nordic Walking uses poles to stabilise the body whilst giving you an all-over body workout.
It engages the core, works the arms, gives you more balance, and it reduces the pressure and weight on joints, so it's an ideal pastime for those that enjoy walks but have some physical limitations.
With the Nordic Walking group you'll explore the beautiful sights of Ashton Court's 850 acres of trail, woodland and grassland, the stunning views of the city, and the manor house's 600-year-old deer park.
This is another exercise group that enjoys a well-earned coffee and cake stop afterwards- we love a balanced lifestyle!

4. Rebounding: Bounce your blues away
Work over 600 muscles in your body whilst being kind on the old joints.
Rebounding is a carefree trampoline-based exercise class where you can let out a bit of silly! This class also includes some club bangers, cheesy tunes, plenty of laughs, and disco lights for that added extra fun to the fitness.
This is another class where you don't need any experience and everyone is there for the good vibes and a bit of bounce.

5. Traditional Afrikan dance - Beginners Class
Traditional Afrikan dance is a healing form of dance that connects your mind, body, and soul.
This art form uses biorhythms (the rhythm and sounds of the music and the dances that accompany them) to connect deeply with something inside of us all.
The dance moves you will be taught are a way of expressing your thoughts and emotions, and this style of dance is considered to be particularly healing in terms of mental health and stress reduction.
