The Spring line up of the Bristol Film Festival runs from February 10th to 13th June 2023 showing classic films in iconic Bristol locations. It opens up iconic Bristol venues to the public for viewings of classic films, from Top Gun at Aerospace Bristol, to Withnail and I at Avery’s wine cellars, to Dirty Dancing at the Clifton Observatory. The independently run festival runs throughout the year - with four seasons as well as regular event series - and was founded in 2015 by Owen Franklin, with a mission to create unforgettable unique experiences pairing film viewings with atmospheric venues.
This year, Yuup, an online marketplace for booking experiences, is again supporting the festival offering tickets to all the showings through its platform having sold over 7,000 film screening experiences for Bristol Film Festival in the last 2 years.
Speaking of the Festival, Yuup’s Founder & CEO Dominic Mills said “The lineup this season exemplifies everything that is Bristol. Bringing together the classic films we all grew up with and showcasing them against the backdrop of some of the most beautiful, novel and iconically Bristol locations. Yuup is proud to be working with Bristol Film Festival again to make it quick and easy to browse and book these one-of-a-kind experiences.”
Owen Franklin added “Yuup is a great partner to have on board as the team has brilliantly championed independent businesses throughout the city since 2021. They understand the culture of the city and support our mission to create unique experiences, bringing together art and architecture in some of our quintessentially Bristolian venues, and bringing back beloved film favourites to the big screen again.”
