The classic tale of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has seen many iterations over the years, taking it from page to the stage to the screen. —But this March, we’re bringing a whole new Oz experience to life, lighting up the skies with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: The Drone Light Show UK tour!
Audiences will join Dorothy and her friends on a mesmerising journey through the magical land of Oz, brought to life by hundreds of illuminated drones. Birmingham will be the first UK city to experience this enchanting show, kicking off its tour across the country, with stops in Nottingham, Cardiff, Southampton, and the North East.
Following the success of Evolution and A Christmas Carol, we’re thrilled to collaborate once again with Celestial (creators of drone light shows for brands across the globe) to bring you this spectacular experience. General release tickets are now on sale from £14 for children and concessions, and £18 for adults.
The future of entertainment Drone light shows are an incredible emerging art form that’s redefining how stories are told. Over the past 12 months, we have delivered 20 performances to over 100,000 audience members across the country. Drone light shows are an alternative way to experience traditional stories and theatre productions, redefining creative entertainment by fusing cutting-edge technology with artistic brilliance. In this retelling of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, audiences will watch the iconic characters, from the playful Munchkins to the courage-craving Cowardly Lion, come to life in the sky above them through a dazzling display of light and sound.
For us, this show is about more than entertainment, it’s a celebration of courage, connection and the magic that lives within us all. With a 45-minute flight time, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: The Drone Light Show offers a full evening of fun for families, couples, and anyone looking to experience something different.
