Tuesday 9th April 2024: Evolution, the epic drone light show, will tell the greatest story of all time with hundreds of drones at Trent Bridge, Nottingham for one night only on Friday 19th April.
Evolution kicked off its 2024 tour following sell-out shows at the end of last year. Following a hugely successful stadium show in Cardiff over Easter weekend, it will show in Nottingham next week for one night only.
Audiences will witness the very latest in creative entertainment as hundreds of state-of-the-art drones take the night sky to tell the story of Evolution, fusing cutting-edge technology and creative storytelling to spark the imagination and spark the soul.
The narrated show, brought to the East Midlands by Yuup and Celestial, starts with the Big Bang, before journeying into the remarkable origins of conscious life on Earth. From single-cell organisms to awe-inspiring dinosaurs and the dawning of modern humans, Evolution is a captivating homage to the past, celebration of the present and glimpse into the horizons of the future.
The event itself is suitable for both families and individuals, all able to enjoy this unique concept in entertainment.
Both Yuup and Celestial operate social impact business models and work hard to ensure a positive impact on the local communities where they deliver experiences. In Nottingham, the Evolution team are working with The Barnaby Webber Foundation and The Trent Bridge Community Trust as official charity partners to help raise much-needed funds for the charities. There will be multiple donation points set up for attendees to donate throughout the night and the host will introduce the charity partners and their work in the local community.
The Barnaby Webber Foundation aims to provide support for and inclusion of young people who are facing life challenges, as well as supporting grassroots cricket clubs. The Trent Bridge Community Trust’s mission is to provide a sporting chance to disadvantaged people in Nottinghamshire, breaking down barriers and raising aspirations for those in need countywide.

The event takes place on Friday 19th April at Trent Bridge, home to Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. Gates will open at 7pm, with food and drink outlets serving a variety of tasty treats while a live DJ plays ahead of the show which starts at 9pm.
