In this ceramic workshop you will be taken through the technique of slab building to make you very own jewellery tray or trinket dish. During the first 10 minutes of the workshop you will be encouraged to sketch out personal templates from which you will create your tray. If you don't feel capable of this there are standard templates for you to use!
Once you have your templates for your ceramic dishes you will start rolling, compressing and cutting out all your pieces of clay. You will then be shown how to sturdily join pieces of clay together, from which you can go ahead and make your jewellery dish!
Once your pieces are made and decorated to your taste you will be able to paint them.

Had an amazing time making ceramic trinket bowls/boxes. The host was very helpful and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Would recommend
Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a bit mucky! Nothing we work with stains, but it can be a bit messy.
I recommend cutting/filing your nails as it can get a little fiddly and difficult with long nails.
