You'll learn the different varieties of sake and the unique characteristics and significance of sake fermentation. The step-by-step process of sake brewing, from rice selection to fermentation. As well as tips and techniques for brewing sake at home

You'll get to take home Sake brewing recipes and instructions. Plus the Sake you started fermenting at this workshop and to allow let it time to mature at home.

  • A hands-on workshop guiding you through the heart of Japanese culture.
  • Learn about the different varieties of sake, their characteristics and the significance of sake fermentation.
  • Walkthrough of the sake brewing process, from rice selection to fermentation.
  • Start sake fermentation during the workshop and continue maturing it at home.
  • Blow Water’s signature dumplings, with both meat and vegan options available.

Blow Water will also be serving up their tasty signature dumplings ( meat and vegan options will be available)!

Sachiko's parents had a casual diner restaurant in Japan where she spent her childhood helping out and taking her first steps in her cooking career. Cooking is part of her family, a joy and a fascinating, creative passion that serves as a way to connect to society.

She's had many years experience teaching different cooking classes from knife skills and care to sushi making.
