What better way to get stuck into pottery? Get creative and enjoy a tipple as you learn a little bit about ceramics and make your very own mug.
This workshop is suitable for ceramic beginners, or anyone who has briefly experimented with clay and wants to give it another go!
Once you finish your gorgeous mug you can get stuck into painting them with a range of different coloured slips! They will then be left to dry for a week, after which they will be bisque fired, glazed and fired again. Pieces are usually ready to collect between 4 - 6 weeks after creation. These beauties will definitely be worth the wait!
All pieces made are dishwasher safe.
Any pottery made during the workshop is kept at the studio for a maximum of 3 months upon point of collection email being sent!

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience - Jess was a great host who guided us clearly with her ceramic expertise but allowed us to have our own creativity on our individual pieces.
The class was a relaxed atmosphere which was made it really nice.
I’d recommend the class and would look into further workshops at Wild Clay Studio.

We had such a fun evening making our mugs. Super chilled but learnt lots. Would highly recommend!
Been twice now, make a plant pot and make a mug! We had loads of fun, very excited to see the finished products. Great experience over all and would do again
The experience was great. The host was laid back but always happy to answer questions and offer help. It made the whole experience feel therapeutic & fun.
I really enjoyed this session, it's not the kind of thing I usually do but it was great! It was so perfectly set up and prepared and Jess was fab. Can't wait to pick up my mug!
The experience was fantastic! Very easy to make your mug even if you are a total beginner. The host was lovely, guided, and supported us every step. She listened to our ideas and helped us execute them so that we could have the best experience and take away our very own mug. It is suitable for couples or individuals! Go without fear or restraint regardless of the experience, you will have an amazing time. Cannot wait to collect our mugs.
Had a lovely time making our mugs, felt really looked after and a lot of patients & time was given for each person. Would highly recommend and will definitely look in to another class/course!
We would highly recommend taking a class with Jess! She was great at explaining what needed to be done whilst also encouraging us to be creative. We learned a lot and also had a great time. We look forward to learning more from her in future workshops. Thank you, Jess!
I really appreciated that she came to each of us to explain things, and was encouraging and gave is feedback along the way.
Fantastic little class, host and atmosphere. Didn’t feel rushed at all and so much freedom to go wherever you liked with it. Lovely little venue. Come with all your ideas.
It was a really lovely evening, with a small group and hands on support, and great to make the mug completely from start to finish before firing. The host is brilliant fun and really lovely. Would highly recommend! Thank you!
Me and my friends attended Jess’ BYOB Mug Making Class. We had the absolute best time and Jess was amazing. It was the perfect group size and so relaxed and fun, yet still learnt about pottery making. Absolutely couldn’t fault it and great location to go out on Gloucester Road after. We’ve recommended it to everyone we know already!
Fabulous evening spent with Jess who is definitely the hostess with the mostess!!! Can't wait to receive updates on what other courses Jess will be running as I'll be signing up :)
Loved it! Thanks Jess 💕 can't wait to see the glazed results!
It was a great time! Although it would be perfect if it started at a sooner hour.

Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a bit mucky! Nothing we work with stains, but it can be a bit messy.
I recommend cutting/filing your nails as it can get a little fiddly and difficult with long nails.
