Ticketing
All tickets are non-refundable. If the experience has to be postponed due to weather, your ticket will automatically transfer to the contingency date displayed on the experience booking page. For details, see Participant Terms and Conditions displayed at the point of booking.
You will receive your e-ticket(s) from Yuup via email. This will be sent from: hello@yuup.co (please check your junk or spam folders in case it’s gone there). A copy of your ticket can also be found by logging in to your Yuup customer account and selecting ‘my experiences’.
If you have purchased multiple tickets under one booking, please note the Yuup system will generate separate QR codes for each person to scan on arrival.
You will need to display your e-ticket(s) on your mobile to be scanned at the entry gate, or if you prefer print a copy of your e-ticket(s) at home and present it at the gate ready to be scanned.
If you have a ticket or booking-related question, you can contact the Yuup team via email at hello@yuup.co or by using Intercom, the instant chat function found on the Yuup homepage.
Tickets can only be purchased in advance from the Yuup website and cannot be purchased from the venue box office.
We're sorry to hear you can’t join us. Tickets are non-refundable, however, if you would like to pass on your tickets to someone else, that is fine as long as they have access to the QR e-tickets to scan on entry.
Timings and arrivals
We advise you to arrive in plenty of time to get through the gates and security checks prior to the start time.
Please be aware:
- Gates One, Two and Three will be open to ticket holders – Recommended gate entry numbers for your seating location will be specified on your ticket
- Bag searches will be in operation as well as security checks at the entrance.
Show timings:
Gates open 1.5 hours prior to show - 18:00
Food village opens and DJ starts - 18:00
Show starts - 19:30
Show ends - 20:15
Site closes - 21:30
The total show run time is 45 minutes.

• Soft drinks/water in plastic containers (tops to be removed, although stewards may in certain conditions allow tops to remain – e.g. for medical conditions, elderly persons, family usage)

• Cameras and video cameras (for recreational and non-commercial use only)
• Flags and banners provided that – in the opinion of the stadium they are not vulgar, political, racial, discriminatory, sexual in nature or display advertising which may in any way impinge or will be in conflict with, the rights of the partners, sponsors, suppliers or vendors, or the event (in any language) or deemed to be offensive, or impact on the view of other spectators. Sticks should not protrude more than 12 inches below the flag.

• Glass containers – perfume, prescription medication, insect repellent

• Cigarette lighters and matches (smoking is permitted in designated areas only)
Seating
The rows run alphabetically starting at A (row 1) closest to the pitch up to row Z (row 23). Row 24 is AA, row 25 is BB, and so on.
(There are only 23 letters in our alphabet because we do not use letters I, O, or U for row designations)
Wheelchair users can access the Stadium via the Gate specified on their ticket. All access points at Sophia Gardens are on a level surface with either tarmac or briquette surface.
Toilet facilities for disabled spectators are located around the ground. All toilets have been secured via the use of Radar key to prevent misuse. A number of stewards and our main reception hold Radar keys if required and will be on hand to assist.

Wheelchair and companion seats are located in Castell Howell Stand 32 and Members Stand 38.
Both seat options are marked with wheelchair symbols and are colour coded. For companion seat, select green option and for wheelchair space, select orange option.
Yes, we offer a complimentary ticket for companions attending the performance with you.
Wheelchair seats are limited, so please book tickets for yourself and your carer at the same time to ensure you are sat together.
You must be able to supply the following documentation dated within the past 12 months or with a valid date covering the event:
- Front-page of DLA letter or PIP letter
- Front-page of Attendance Allowance letter
- DID card (National Disabled Identification Card)
- Evidence of being registered as severely sight-impaired (blind)
- Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
- Valid Access Card showing you require a +1 to accompany you
- Armed Forces Independent Disability Payment
- War Disablement Pension
- A specialist medical consultant letter stating your need for additional assistance at events
In addition, copies of the following two pieces of evidence are required in order to reserve an accessible parking space:
- Valid Blue Badge
- Valid Photo ID (Driver's licence/Passport or equivalent, to validate the Blue Badge)
It is recommended that you choose a seat located towards the front of the row nearest the performance area or at the end of an aisle, as this will provide you with a little bit more space.
If needed the Stadium has a limited number of wheelchairs on site to provide easy, escorted access to seats. Stadium wheelchairs cannot be pre-booked or booked for the whole event as they must be available to use at all times.
The individual needing wheelchair seat will need to select one of the wheelchair spaces and the rest of the group can choose seats within the same stand.

Facilities at Sophia Gardens
There will be a range of food and drink outlets availale at the Stadium for you to enjoy which will include vegetarian, vegan and halal menu options.
Sophia Gardens is a cashless venue and only card payments will be taken.

Yes, the stands are steep however, there is lift to access the wheelchair area. If you don't want to or can't climb steps, we recommend you choosing seating closer to the front of the stand.
Getting to Sophia Gardens
There is no public parking available at the Sophia Gardens.
The nearest public car parking is available in the Sophia Gardens Pay and Display car park situated within Sophia Close. For other City Centre carparks please refer to the Cardiff Council website for more information.

Cardiff Bus services run regularly between Cardiff Central Station and Cathedral Road (adjacent to Sophia Gardens Cardiff) Routes going via Cathedral Road include:
- Number 25 Circular Service to Llandaff North and North Road
- Number 62 Service to Llandaff, Danescourt, Pentrebane, Fairwater & Canton.
- Number 63 service Ffordd Berllan, Central Station, Radyr to Llandaff.

General questions
Yes, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is suitable for all ages to enjoy!
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Any adult is responsible entirely for the safety and welfare of any Infant and/or Child and/or Teenager in their party. We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18s.
In the event of bad weather conditions, the event may be postponed and your booking will automatically be moved to a new date as explained on the Experience Listing. We will contact all customers by email and SMS to confirm the new date the event will be held on.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to attend the event with you, with the exception of guide and assistance dogs.
You will not be able to bring your own food & drink with you, except a non-glass soft drinks/water in plastic containers (tops to be removed, although stewards may in certain conditions allow tops to remain – e.g. for medical conditions, elderly persons, family usage).
There will be a number of different food and drink options available to purchase at the venue.
Yes. There are exemptions for bringing food/drink onsite if you have a health condition - please provide proof of this where possible.
