Gifts and Gift Credit

Purchasing gifts 

Most experiences can be purchased as gifts, with the option to schedule later (though purchasing a gift experience for a specific date is also an option).  

If an experience can be purchased as a gift without selecting a particular date, this will be displayed on the experience page above available dates on the right side. 

If you'd like to gift an experience for a specific date, this option can be ticked before adding the experience to your basket. 

After your purchase goes through, you will have the option to download your gift card, and to send it to the recipient at a scheduled time by including their email address and a message before clicking Send gift card. You will also be able to find it later and do the same through your Orders.

Bear in mind, that after being scheduled for a specific date, gift bookings can be rescheduled as long as they're within the cancellation policy however, all gift bookings are non-refundable and expire exactly 1 year after the date of purchase.

Purchasing gift credit 

Customers can also buy gift credit that can be used on any live Yuup experience. 

This can be found by:

  • Clicking on the Gift credit option under the More tab next to the search bar
 
  • The first result displayed after using the search bar from the homepage.
     
  • Clicking on Gift credit at the bottom of the Yuup website

You will then be able to choose from your gift card value. Denominations range from £10 - £250. 

Please, bear in mind, gift voucher for gift credit won't be sent into your email address. After your purchase goes through, you will have the option to download your gift voucher, and to send it to the recipient at a scheduled time by including their email address and a message before clicking Send gift card. You will also be able to find it later and do the same through your Orders under Credit I've gifted tab

Redeeming Yuup gift cards & gift credit 

In order to redeem a gift, will need the redemption code. If you cannot find your gift card and redemption code, please ask the gift purchaser to resend this through their Yuup account. 

Alternatively, you can get in touch with the Yuup team and they will be able to find this for you. You will need to provide: your name, the name and email address of the gift purchaser, and the experience/quantity of gift credit that was purchased (if known). This will help the team to solve your issue promptly.  

Once you have your gift code, it is time to redeem your experience on the Yuup website.   

To redeem your gift, you have to create a Yuup user account from the Home Page. Without a user account, you won't be able to redeem your gift. Make sure to use the correct link when redeeming your code. 

Gifted experiences can be redeemed at www.yuup.co/redeem    
Gifted credit can be redeemed during checkout or at www.yuup.co/redeem_promo  

Once you've redeemed your gift, it will become associated with your account. The redemption code can only be redeemed once and it cannot be moved to a different account.  

You will be able to find your booking under My Experiences or your gift credit under the Credit tab of your account. 

Refunds and expiry 

Gift bookings and gift credit are both non-refundable. However, under special circumstances, the Yuup team may credit a customer’s account so that they may swap experiences from the gift they have received. 

Both gifted experiences and gifted credit will expire exactly one year from the date of purchase, so be sure you attend your experience and spend your credit before its expiry.

Once gift booking expires, the customer can no longer attend the experience. A refund will be issued upon expiry, minus a 20% cancellation fee. This refund will go back to the gift purchaser's bank account. Gift credit  be refunded upon expiry.
