EmailZentangles are all about relaxation and flow. We will work on a design plan, but no two pieces will end up looking the same. It is easy to learn and is considered a form of artistic meditation using abstract shapes and repetition. We will start with pencil lines, overlay them with black and white gel pen, and add some colourful spots.
What’s Included?
- Step-by-step guidance on creating a unique Zentangle design.
- All materials provided, including quality watercolour paper, gel pens, smudges and spotters, pencils and paints.
- Learn artistic meditation techniques using abstract shapes and repetition.
- Hands-on instruction to add colour and intricate details.
- A handcrafted Zentangle artwork to take home or gift.
You will leave with a beautiful, handcrafted zentangle painting to adorn your home or give as a unique gift.
Mugs of fruit tea are available if desired.

COVID-19 guidelines
All areas are kept clean and tidy at all times. If necessary, windows and doors can be opened to create airflow.
On the day
- Please arrive on time for your session.
- Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on.
- The workspace is on the ground floor, but the toilet is on the 1st floor. Two cats live here, but I will lock them away during the session.
- If sessions are before 5 pm, I can provide parking permits at no extra charge.

I am an artist and writer. By day, I work at a Bristol Primary School, specialising in teaching English to students who need a little extra help and encouragement. In my free time, I’m a creative, always working on a new project. I feel that art is a lovely mediative activity that should be available to all, regardless of experience.
