Candlelit Yin Yoga, Massage & Sound Bath

2 hrs
(15)

Looking for a wholesome way to start off your weekend, nourish your body and soul? This relaxing workshop uses yoga, aromatherapy, massage, singing bowls, and guided meditation to put you into a deep state of relaxation.

After a short gentle yin yoga practice choose between a short shiatsu face & head massage or shiatsu acupressure foot massage treatment while you lie down with a group and follow a guided yoga nidra meditation (with an option to use a shakti mat).

Shiatsu is a non invasive therapy originating from Japan. It uses a combination of kneading, pressing, tapping and stretching techniques. These gentle techniques aim to reduce tension and re energise the body. Shiatsu works with the body's energy flow, known as Ki or Qi .

Singing bowls will be placed on your body. The vibrations of the bowls are felt within our bodies and energy fields and guide the brain into meditative alpha and theta waves of deep relaxation and a healing state.

During this 90-minute workshop you will experience:

  • Short guided Yin Yoga practice
  • Guided meditation to balance your body's energy centres
  • Short shiatsu foot massage treatment or facial massage
  • Short singing bowls massage with bowls placed on your body
  • Aura cleansing sound bath with gongs and chimes
  • Aromatherapy with a selected blend of essential oils
  • Option to use a Shakti mat for an added acupressure benefit

This practice promotes better well-being, stress reduction, improved sleep, and many other reported health benefits.

Please avoid sound therapy if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, have a heart pacemaker, coronary stent, cardiac shunt, artificial heart valves, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), new metal inserts, implants, or staples. Some people may experience headaches as a result of feeling vibrations.
