Yin&Yang: Yoga, Sauna, Massage and Sound

4 hrs 30 mins
(6)

Join us for a transformative experience as we weave together ancient wisdom and modern holistic therapies to nurture your body, mind, and spirit.

The group will be split into two subgroups, one of which will start the day with the yoga practice followed by the sauna and cold plunge, while the other will begin with the sauna and cold plunge which will then be followed by the yoga practice.

Yin Yoga that stretches the body, releases tension and calms the mind. Allow the healing heat of the sauna to penetrate your muscles and release toxins from your body. Embrace the revitalising chill of the cold plunge, awakening your senses and stimulating circulation. This contrast therapy promotes vitality and resilience, leaving you feeling rejuvenated from the inside out.

After that, we'll gather for a shared lunch, where all participants are invited to bring a dish either for themselves or one to share with a group and come together to enjoy a communal meal.

After lunch, experience deep relaxation and renewal with our massage and sound session. Alma Jade will use gentle Shiatsu massage technique, an ancient Japanese technique that involves applying pressure to specific points on your body. This helps release tension and restore the flow of energy, promoting balance and wellbeing. Whether focusing on your face or feet, Shiatsu massage brings a sense of calm and rejuvenation. Meanwhile, Aggy will immerse you in the sound bath of Tibetan singing bowls which she’ll place on your body. The soothing vibrations and harmonious tones will resonate through your body, helping to release tension, reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and restore balance to the mind and body.

Throughout the retreat, we invite you to delve into the philosophy of yin and yang energies, ancient principles that symbolise the interplay of opposites and the harmony of existence. Yin represents the receptive, nurturing aspect, while yang embodies the active, dynamic force. By embracing and balancing these complementary energies within ourselves, we tap into a deeper understanding of our inner harmony and vitality.

Please avoid sound massage therapy if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, have a heart pacemaker or new metal implants.
