What a fantastic experience! Jo is really knowledgeable and teaches you to weave a scarf with warmth, humour and encouragement. Had a really great time and now have a beautiful handwoven scarf.
Enjoyed having a go at weaving and need to practise with the loom aorund the body esp when rolling up scarf to do more weaving! Host was very clear and easy to follow as well as being friendly. Look forward to finishing at home and make a neck snood soon. Thank you.
My sister and I booked this workshop as a gift for my mum's birthday. The class was excellent, Jo was great at explaining and giving pointers. We were all really pleased with the scarves we made by the end and had a really great time! I highly recommend the class, it was a really fun creative activity and a great intro to weaving.
I really enjoyed the workshop! I learnt lots about back strap weaving in a relatively short period of time and came home with a quality piece. Small group tuition with plenty of 1:1 support, lovely wools to weave with and a nice, cosy environment. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Thank you Jo!
A lovely afternoon. Me and my mum loved making our scarves!
I loved this workshop! Jo was so easy to learn from and a wonderful host! I really enjoyed weaving my own scarf, and Jo encouraged me to find my own style. I cannot wait to get started on another weaving project 😊 I would definitely recommend this workshop if you are looking to explore weaving for the first time
Absolutely great class and wonderful experience. Learned so much, and had a great, relaxed time doing so. The instruction was wonderful, and it inspired some great ideas and am loving being able to do this at home! Would absolutely do another class!
Fun experience
I had a great time learning how to weave a scarf with Jo. The backstrap loom was simple to pick up and fun to use, and it was great being able to leave with something I’d made. Jo’s passion for textiles, weaving and the mental health benefits it brings was clear. I would definitely recommend this workshop!
