Pottery for beginners: learn to throw on the wheel

We had so much fun doing this two hour workshop! and you actually get something useful at the end. My partner is going back to do the follow on glazing for us both but you can also leave it with them to clear glaze and fire for you!

My partner and I had a great time! There were 4 students to one instructor, who gave an easy-to-follow demo before handing over to us for 2 hours on the throwing wheel. We had great fun throwing as many items as possible in the time, recieving helpful tips and feedback as we went.
Highly reccomend! Can't wait to collect our fired creations.

I had an amazing time trying out pottery for the first time last night after wanting to try for YEARS! The class was really fun, small group of 3 people maximum. After a short demonstration we all got to our wheel and started throwing!
I would DEFINITELY recommend. SO much fun ☺️

Absolutely loved the experience! It was a surprise for my mums 60th should have seen her face when she thought we were doing yoga! Thoroughly enjoyed it even if I felt like I did a workout made two pots and got covered in clay !

Parking was quite difficult to find so allow yourself extra time.
A fabulous day in a well equipped studio with plenty of natural light. Gaby our host, was very easy to get along with as well as knowledgeable and skilful. The 2 hr taster session just flew by.
We had a great afternoon and can’t wait to see our pieces in a couple of weeks once they’ve ve been fired.
I will definitely be recommending it to friends.
