In this experience, get two hours of one-to-one tuition with a professional maker at Corsham's Lancefield Studios. They'll show you the ropes and how to throw on the potter's wheel.

What to expect:

• Get one-to-one tuition from a professional in this two-hour pottery workshop
• Learn how to wedge clay, use the potter's wheel and all the various steps involved with throwing your own small pot
• There will be limitless clay available - you can try and try again!

Come prepared to get messy - sometimes very messy! But have lots of laughs, learn about clay, its special properties and how it behaves (or misbehaves) under the pressure of your fingertips…By the end, you'll be working magic with them!

If you make a pot that will survive the firing then this is also included in the price - ready for you to collect a couple of weeks later. Alternatively, postage can be arranged at an extra cost.
