Love sushi and want to learn how to make it yourself? Join for a fun (and tasty) sushi workshop, where you'll discover the secrets of this Japanese cuisine. You'll get hands-on guidance from a professional chef, who will show you how to cook the perfect sushi rice, prepare and slice your ingredients, and roll and present your creations. You'll also learn a bit about the history and culture of sushi, and how to pair it with sauces and drinks.
You'll make three different types of sushi: nigiri, California, maki, and uramaki rolls. You'll use fresh and quality ingredients, such as salmon, tuna, avocado, cucumber, and seaweed. You'll also get to enjoy your sushi at the end of the class, or take it home with you in containers.
This class is suitable for beginners and experts alike, and for anyone who loves sushi. It's a great way to have fun, learn new skills, and impress your friends and family with your homemade sushi.
The hosts can cater for different diets on request, but some cuisines may be more challenging than others. If you have any dietary requirements, please let them know before you book. This class is for over 14s only, and they must be accompanied by a full-paying adult. Please bring your own apron and containers to take your sushi home.
All classes are 100% hands-on and you'll work in small groups or pairs. The class duration includes the dining time.
