Fashion stylist, Clothemod, hosts her famous Style Lock-in at the Clothing X Change which allows you to have a whole shop to you and your party! The perfect evening for a birthday or hen party, and comes with complimentary bubbly.
What to expect:
- Personal styling session with sustainable fashion stylist in a fun group setting
- Shop cool secondhand clothing alongside your friends and with the help of sustainable fashion stylist, Clothemod
- Sustainable fashion masterclass covering everything from spotting original vintage pieces to the best second-hand shops in Bristol
- Fill out a questionnaire about your style and your dream second-hand outfit (this will be emailed to you upon booking)
- Show up and be greeted by your one-of-a-kind outfit, styled by Clothemod, curated just for you from 100% second-hand garments
- An introductory talk from Clothemod discussing the fashion industry and why she's helping others champion second-hand fashion
- Sustainable fashion Q&A to finish
- A safe space to explore your style; all ages, genders and sizes welcome!
- Free bubbly (and soft drinks too!)
There’s no pressure to purchase the outfit that’s been selected for you.
This experience is about learning how to make your wardrobe second-hand. If you love the outfit enough to purchase it - that’s a bonus!
What you’ll learn:
- How to find designer bargains
- Tips on where to shop in Bristol
- How to find quality second-hand clothing
- How to spot original vintage clothing (and what era it’s from)
- How to tell the difference between synthetic and sustainable fabrics
- How colour theory can be applied to styling
The venue:
This will be hosted in the Clothing X Change in Broadmead, where you will be able to browse their secondhand clothing collections to find the perfect garms!
The ticket includes styling services, complimentary bubbly and exclusive after-hours access to the Clothing X Change’s collections.

Please fill out the style questionnaire (link in email confirmation) before your experience so that Clothemod can style you an outfit for your arrival. On the night, please wait outside the store until Clothemod lets you in at 7.30pm.

Meg, or Clothemod, is a sustainable fashion stylist based in Bristol. She specialises in working with second hand fashion, and has a vast amount of knowledge on shopping vintage. In her styling experiences you will be able to have one-to-one styling support, and learn the tricks of the second hand shopping trade!
