Stained Glass Taster Workshop - Make a Mirror

Come and learn the traditional craft of Stained Glass and make your own decorative mirror from scratch. This is the perfect taster day experience for anyone wanting to learn skills in glasswork.

This is a hands-on course, covering all processes including glass cutting, leading, soldering, cementing and polishing your piece. Our expert tutor will give you a good grounding in the core skills, whilst also enabling you to finish your piece during the day ready to take home and show off!

Learn about different types of glass and choose from a wide range of colours and textures to suit your style.

All materials and use of tools are included. Maximum of 6 students. Minimum age to attend is 16. Course runs from 10am-4pm with a lunch break in-between. Tea and coffee is included during the day but please bring your own lunch or pick something up from the local High Street. There is ample free parking in the streets outside and around the venue.

Essential Info: Please wear closed-toed shoes and tie back long hair. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or bring an apron. Due to the use of lead it is recommended that pregnant women do not attend. Use of a soldering flux derived from animal fat is necessary on this course, so regrettably it is not vegan.
