We weren’t sure what to expect, but Harriet soon put us at ease and explained everything. After a brief experience herding a small flock, we split into teams and competed in herding sheep through a number of obstacles for points. Overall, a great experience and one which we would happily recommend.
Harriet was a great host and we all had a really fun time. Would definitely recommend! There’s also a very nice cafe around the corner if you want to have lunch afterwards.
Came with family as a birthday present. We all had a great time. Lots of laughing, learning and Harriet was a great teacher. Great to meet other people too and work as a team together. It felt silly in the best way.
Harriet was super knowledgeable and great at explaining sheepherding. The sheep were beautiful and very friendly!
We had so much fun! Never could have imagined how fun it is to get into the same mind set as a sheep! Harriet is a brilliant host - informative, witty. Would highly recommend!
Good fun nice to be out in the countryside something everyone can enjoy
We had a lot of fun just wish it had been longer, great host
Sheep herding was really fun. It wasn’t too physically energetic - lively enough though, set in a great location and led by a lovely host. Good value, would highly recommend.
A great, fun experience, would definitely recommend
We had a brilliant day, Harriet was very knowledgeable, personable and was a great host. Thank you very much, we have been recommending to everyone
I didn’t know what to expect but this was a really fun experience. Harriet was a warm and friendly host very knowledgeable and obviously loves Sheep. This was a present from my Son and family who came with me we all so enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to friends and other members of the family. Thank you so much Harriet.
This was a very different experience to anything else I've had - it was bought as a Christmas present and is definitely a unique gift. Harriet was really fun and informative and our group of 7 smashed the herding record. The sheep all have great personalities and it's clear that they're loved - even Denise. Would recommend to anyone - you don't need to be super fit to do it either!
Becky was such an amazing host, it was just me my friend and Becky and she was so accommodating and we both learnt loads and honestly had the best time! I've already recommended it to my friends, great morning out ❤️❤️
My friends and I had a great time chatting to Harriet about sheep farming, learning how to herd and doing a little competition. It was all very relaxed and fun to do.
Loved it!
Great fun! Lovely setting and brilliant host. Highly recommended.
Such a great experience, really enjoyed doing something so different. Harriet was an amazing host, so informative and engaging. Would recommend to a friend.
What a great experience - fun, informative, relaxing and somehow therapeutic, we weren't sure on what to expect but it definitely surpassed any expectations we could have had. We loved hearing about the sheep, their lives and their personalities, and the little fun competition was such a great touch. We will definitely repeat the experience, share it with friends and family when they come to visit and will keep talking about it for a long time.
A fun and unique experience! Would easily recommend to friends.
Excellent
We booked this as a team building exercise for work and thought it was fantastic!
Loved this. Becki and Harriet worked really hard to make sure this was enjoyable for our diverse group. We learnt so much about sheep farming, and it was great to have a go at scoring points in the competition. Really great set up, nice loos, good area to sit and watch from too. Would love to go back!
Lovely day in a very well managed farm. We were a small group, but had a very enjoyable time herding 6 sheep through arches, obstacles, even getting them to stand still ! Scored massive points !
I bought this as a present for myself and a friend to do for her birthday, and it was so much better than I expected! Becky was brilliant as the host, showing us the lambs and other sheep as we walked over to where we would be herding, and answering all our questions. The herding was so fun, and got competitive as we tried to beat our score! Would 100% recommend and have been telling everyone they should do this. Thanks for such a great morning!
It was an amazing experience. I was a little sceptical before going on how much herding you would actually do but it was very hands on and a lot of fun.
A really enjoyable morning activity, and very well organised. Becky and Chris were friendly and informative and made me feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.
Great fun and really welcoming. It was also really interesting to learn more about life on the farm.
What a fun morning! ‘Go big or go home’ was our team decision and we lost with style but had a fabulous time lead by excellent hosts who made the whole experience informative and a real laugh. Not sure there were any new shepherds in the making …. Would definitely recommend.
This was so much fun. Me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would love to do it again. This gets a big thumbs up from us.
Booked this to celebrate 2 friends birthday's as something different and really wasn't sure what to expect, we are all in our late 20's. Will say it was more fun then we could have imagined, the hosts (and sheep) were great and made sure we all have a good time! The other groups were a family with small children and another family and we all had a good time! Definitely a fun activity for anyone of any age and group looking to do something a little different ! x
An excellent experience, suitable for a couple of friends or bigger groups. The hosts were extremely friendly, it was clearly visible they enjoyed their work. Even the rain didn't spoil the day, with a pair of wellies and a waterproof jacket on I felt like a real farmer.
Had so much fun herding sheep and taking shelfies with them! Our host Becky was lovely. Would 100% recommend this experience ☺️
Well, what a lovely morning we had with great host, Becky, celebrating my son's birthday with his family and others. Gorgeous sheep with a mind of their own made this a fun activity, especially the team competition - 'The Black Sheep Boys' (men) against 'Ewe'll be Perfect' (women won!). My 16 month old grandson was entranced with the sheep and joined in enthusiastically. Thank you so much, Becky, for going over and above to make this day special.
This was great fun! We went as a group of 4 and had a great time competing on the assault course. A really unique and memorable experience
Had a fantastic time would definitely recommend!!
It was something different and we enjoyed the experience.
This was so much fun! Absolutely loved every minute of it. The hosts were fantastic and really easy going, the sheep were fantastic too! I would really recommend this to anyone - it was a great experience. I can't wait to come back in the spring and do it again! Thank you so much.
An enjoyable experience from start to finish. An activity suitable for all ages and group sizes. Hosts were interactive, fun and friendly. We thoughly enjoyed ourself and look forward to doing other events at this farm.
