Sew Your Own Dream Top for Kids

This is a fun and creative learn-how-to-sew workshops for kids aged 9 and up. During the process of making the top of their dreams, they learn how to design, some basic hand sewing skills, how to use a sewing machine and how clothes can be embellished through embroidery, appliqué, painting and much more. We'll use reclaimed fabrics and materials to make the dream top of every child's own imagination.

What to expect:

• Use reclaimed fabrics and materials for a sustainable approach
• Embellishment techniques such as embroidery, appliqué, and painting
• Fashion show on the last day at 4pm, where carers are welcome

This workshop runs on three consecutive afternoons (Wednesday - Friday) from 1pm - 4.30pm each day. On the last day we'll have a fashion show from 4pm, where carers are welcome to come along to see the children's new creations. This is a drop-off workshop but if necessary a carer can come along (please message Meret on Yuup if this is required or if there are any other special requirements, so we can accommodate).
