Scent Blending & Candle Making

I spent a wonderful afternoon creating my own blend for a candle. It was wonderful to encounter the importance of different scents and the ratios they need. It was such a relaxing fun afternoon, would definitely recommend it.

Really enjoyable few hours, makes you want to do more candles yourselves, very knowledgeable host, Maria was eager to share tips and always happy to help and answer questions

This experience was fantastic, the host immediately made us feel at ease. Maria was super knowledgeable about the scent blending and the whole candle making journey, we had plenty of time to ask any questions at all and she knew the answers to them all. Maria was also really friendly and kind and I felt really comfortable with her just like an old friend. I'm so happy with this experience and I love the candle that I made from this!

It was great to learn about the compatibility of scents then make our scented candle to take home. Such a lovely experience, great atmosphere really well organised and run. I'd highly recommend it

It was really fun and informative. I never had a chance to sit down with so many different essential oils and also having a chance to chat with others with their choices are very interesting. Pleasantly surprised by smells of what I thought I knew.

I recommend bringing a friend because it is really fun to compare likes and dislikes!

Fantastic workshop

Maria was so knowledgeable and lovely. My partner and I had a great time exploring scents and making our own candle.

My first experience at candle making. A very relaxed atmosphere and no pressure to rush through the smelling of the 25 or so oils. I really enjoyed choosing my combination of oils to make my candle. My host was friendly, patient and very helpful. Thank you.

Second time I have done this course. Knowledgable tutor, clear instruction and advice and well organised. Relaxed group lots of interaction and pace was well thought through. Brought a friend this time and she enjoyed it too.

This was the best workshop I’ve ever been to! Fantastic location and wonderful instructor and shop staff. Would recommend a thousand times over!

Loved the whole process. Wide variety of essential oils to smell and explore. You get to leave with your own homemade candle and learn about the principles behind scent blending. Would 100% recommend! Lovely venue too.

Really enjoyed the experience, it was a birthday gift, something I wouldn’t have thought of doing.

Enjoyable and informative

Such a fun experience creating my own scent and turning it into a candle. Maria was a wonderful host, really knowledgeable but also very encouraging of us to get creative and just have fun.
The only downside was the strong scents did get a little overwhelming by the end of the evening as we were upstairs and didn’t have much ventilation or air flow in the room.

Still I would highly recommend it!

My niece and I really enjoyed this workshop - it was great to experiment with the scents and Maria was very knowledgeable about them. She pitched it just right, providing extra info for anyone who wanted it. She even created a candle for us to give to my niece's friend who was unable to attend. Thanks very much for a fab experience!

Learned to intuitively blend a candle fragrance from a large, interesting range of essential oils. Really enjoyed this workshop. This candle probably won’t be my last 😊

Really therapeutic and enjoyable! The host was full of knowledge and advise and was really patient while we asked lots of questions. Would definitely recommend and would do another experience with Mooke handmade in the future.

Maria is knowledgeable and has a calm vibe. This workshop was very relaxed, low-stress, well organised, and informative. The best thing about her workshop was the wide variety of essential oils she has for participants to experiment with and her encouragement to create our own blends but offering ways to balance our blends when we asked for help. I came away with useful information and want to try making candles but will happily continue to buy her products and participate in her workshops!

Great workshop, and ideal location.

Had a wonderful time! I came with my friend and we had a delightful time looking around Prior shop beforehand. Our host was so calming and genuinely friendly- she had an excellent knowledge and I came away knowing so much about how to blend scents together into something delicious and unique. We learned about top, mid, and base scent notes and there were so many essential oils/essences to blend with. I would recommend to anyone- it was truly unique and value for money.
