These pottery workshops teach hand-built pottery (so no need for a pottery wheel), and you can make anything from mugs, bowls or vases to butter dishes, jugs, pet bowls and more. If you have something specific in mind, your hosts always welcome fresh ideas!

The list of available dates is tentative please contact your host to discuss possible dates, times and locations. Any groups below 5 will be hosted at the host's studio, groups bigger than that will have a selection of venues to choose from.

We may ask to see photos of your home space in advance to ensure it would be suitable. We can also discuss venue hire with you if you prefer.
Although aprons are provided, we recommend you wear something you don't mind getting a bit mucky! Please arrive 15 minutes before your the start of the session so we can get going promptly. Feel free to bring some drinks with you but please note no glasses are provided so please bring your own or bring bottled beverages. There is sadly no recycling on the premises so please take your packaging away with you.
Meredith is a ceramicist specialising in handbuilding with 3 years of teaching experience. She enjoys exploring clay techniques such as coiling, pinch pots and slab building. Bringing these techniques to a variety of workshops, Meredith aims to share her love of the clay world by guiding you through the process of handmade forms.
Naomi is an expert potter with three years teaching experience. Naomi mostly works on the potter's wheel, but has recently reignited her love for hand building. Her aim is to help people realise their ideas in clay. Naomi will be on hand during the whole experience to give advice, support and plenty of encouragement.
