Print a Christmas Stocking or Gift Pouch

Looking for a fun Christmas crafting activity to do with the family?

This relief printing workshop at Creative Space, 39 High St, Bristol, BS16 5HD will see you both tapping into your creativity and getting your hands messy. It is a wonderful way of spending quality crafting time with your loved ones to get in the Christmas spirit together. Everyone will take home their very own printed Christmas stocking / gift pouch ready for Christmas Eve!

In this workshop, you will explore different relief printing methods including making your own printing blocks and selecting and using pre-cut stencils. Then use quality fabric printing paints to create your own finished design! The print methods are suitable for adults and children 6years+

What to expect:

• Learn different techniques for relief printing
• Be given tips for inspiration
• Design unique printing blocks
• Print your artwork onto fabric, choosing from a Christmas stocking (length 57cm) or a drawstring gift bag (35 x 25cm)
• Spend quality time being creative and crafting with loved ones
• Enjoy plenty of tea, coffee, juice and biscuits to help along the way!

Your host Kate is a teacher and artist with years over experience. Kate allows you the space to experiment with ideas whilst providing guidance and support to ensure you feel confident.
