What’s all the fuss? And what does it even mean? Find out why more and more people are opting for organic and minimal intervention wine with this tasting.

You'll be hosted by

Matthew (He/Him)

Matthew has been “submerged” in wine for the last 15 years. Travelling, tasting and working with the fine liquid to gain a vast understanding and more importantly enjoyment from the most delicious juice there is.

It can be a daunting and intimidating topic. Nevertheless…. it shouldn’t be!

Matthew’s career in wine started in hotels in the Lace Market in Nottingham. Pairing wines with tasting menus, hosting wine dinners and designing wine lists. He moved on from there to work in a number of well-established Michelin stared restaurants to continue exploring his love of wine.

Matthew soon took it to the next level and gained a sommelier certification through the CMS (court of Master Sommelier) and also studied a diploma in wine through the WSET (The Wine & Spirit Education Trust).

It was a natural next step for Matthew to create Woodthorpe Wines and begin a new adventure where wine is at the heart of everything he does and he can help people feel confident when choosing wine.
