Enjoy a presenter-led guided tour of the current night sky, and then accompany British scientists in their hunt for real aliens! Learn how to easily find the red planet Mars and giant planet Jupiter, as they will be right next to each other in the dawn sky! You'll also have no trouble locating the beautiful ringed world Saturn after sunset.
Next gaze at light from a star that departed when the ancient Egyptians were building the pyramids, completing its journey in your eyes 2,600 years later! Then it's time to dim the lights and begin our 360° cinema experience, where we investigate how we know which planets could harbour life - both within our Solar System and beyond, as well as what are the requirements for life?
Discover how robots are programmed to fly to alien worlds, land on their own and then are driven by remote control from Earth. How are exoplanets (planets around other stars) discovered, and how can we determine if these worlds harbour life?
Will we ever encounter intelligent life in our galaxy or are we perhaps alone in the Universe? And could it be that we are the aliens?
