Take your knitting to the next level with next step knitting.
If you’ve mastered the art of the neverending garter stitch scarf and want to start knitting something more complex, then come along to this next step knitting workshop.
This workshop is designed to pick up right where the 'Learn to knit - absolute beginners' workshop ended. It's suitable for people who can cast one, work a knit and purl stitch, and cast off - but haven't mastered anything more complex than that.
In this half-day workshop, you’ll be learning lovely new knitting skills like:
Your ticket includes handouts, tea, coffee, biscuits, and a knitting pattern. Yarn and needles aren't included so people who've already attended the learn to knit workshop can use what they've already got. If you don't have your own yarn and needles, that's not a problem - you can buy some at No Frills Knitting on the day of the workshop.
Please note: a minimum of 2 bookings are required for this workshop to run. If this number isn't reached the host will be in touch to discuss re-scheduling.
Age restrictions: 18+

I learnt a lot. Jackie was excellent.
Jackie is a very talented knitted, she was fun, friendly and made everyone feel that they would be able to develop the skills she was teaching.
My partner really enjoyed the class, would recommend!
Jacki is a wonderful teacher and the class is very enjoyable! You learn loads and she does a great job of explaining each step, helping where you get stuck, and you leave feeling very capable of starting your own projects at home.
Fantastic course :) I found the part about how to read patterns particularly helpful, highly recommend
Very knowledgable host.
Really good to go over how to read patterns and increases and decreases. Jackie sends you slide decks with images to refer back to which I find really helpful. Thanks!
Really, informative enjoyable and good fun.
Jackie answered my questions and the demos and handouts really helped progress my knitting. The shop location was great. Also - good snacks.
Lovely to get back into knitting
Pre-event lateral flow testing is encouraged. Please don't attend if you're unwell.
