Make a unique piece of silver jewellery

Do you like silver jewellery? Do you want to learn how to make your own? Well, this experience is for you!

In this experience, you will be given all the tips and tricks by a professional jeweller before using your new skills to have a go at making your own silver jewellery.

Your host is an expert in their trade and will give you plenty of inspiration and guidance along the way. Under their wing you will be leaving with a handcrafted piece to wear and treasure for years to come!

Choose from making:

Stacking rings - A set of three slim rings with different complementary textures. Single Larger ring - A thicker ring with the option of adding texture and stamping letters. Bangle - A full circle or oval bangle, with the option of texturing. Cuff - A solid open bracelet to be put on over the wrist rather than the hand, with the option of texturing and stamping letters. Wax Carving - A 3D ring or pendant which you will carve in wax to be cast in silver. It will be returned to you a few weeks later as a ready to wear totally unique piece of jewellery. Stone Set Ring or Pendant - A textured silver bezel set ring or pendant. We will first practice texturing techniques on copper before applying this to your silver plate, then you can choose from a range of semi-precious stones and learn how to set it on your piece.

In this experience, you will:

• Have access to all tools and materials
• Be given inspiration for designs
• Be guided on how to start making your own silver jewellery
• Leave with a gorgeous item made by you, which you can really brag about!

This relaxed and friendly workshop is designed for all levels of skill, so no prior experience is needed.

The class starts at 1.30pm on the dot so it would be good to turn up a five minutes earlier to get yourselves settled in and we can make you a cuppa! The class runs until 4pm but on occasion some people take a little longer, if you need to get away at 4pm, please let us know in advance and we can give you a little extra help if necessary.
