EmailJoin Anne from MAKE Creative Workshops for a creative morning of macrame, where you’ll make your own macrame plant hanger.
No previous experience is needed and everyone is welcome to this relaxed crafting workshop. During your 2.5 hour experience you’ll cover:
- A short introduction
- Basic macrame knots
- Guidance through the stages of making
- Plenty of time for questions
There will be a range of colourful macrame cord to choose from for your piece, and also some finished hangers for inspiration. You will be able to create your own unique plant hanger. Any mistakes are easily unknotted, making this a great opportunity to get creative!
You’ll leave with your finished one of a kind plant holder and a worksheet from Anne to help you to carry on making macrame at home.

MAKE Creative Workshops
Anne was a design and technology teacher for ten years before retraining to be a antenatal and postnatal practitioner. It was when she started to miss teaching creative classes that she had the idea to launch MAKE Creative Workshops. She had previously taught with Vicky for over five years, and together they founded MAKE Creative Workshops in Bristol and Northampton. Their aim is to offer relaxed, creative experiences for all ages. Here in Bristol, Anne specialises in hosting experiences for adults, she offers relaxing craft workshops where adults can get creative, and go home with a new skill and a product they are proud of.

Anne will be your host, an experienced teacher and crafter. Anne's favourite thing about hosting her experiences is being able to share her skills and watch as each person creates their own, one of a kind piece.
