Join Bristol Cathedral for a dazzling journey of light and sound as the Cathedral architecture turns into a virtual canvas this Christmas.

The award winning artistic collaboration known as Luxmuralis are back, set to transform the interior of Bristol Cathedral with stunning sound and light artwork.

Begin this year's Christmas celebrations by coming along on an uplifting journey through an illuminated interpretation of the Nativity Story. It promises to be a stunning experience for all the whole family, the perfect start to the advent season.

Back in 2023 Luxmuralis brought you ‘Force of Nature’ light spectacular and before that ‘Space Voyager’ which saw thousands enjoy the immersive fine art experience.

About the event:

Ticket times

The time you select is the time of your entry. Once you are inside, you are welcome to stay until the end of the evening. Most visitors spend around 45 minutes inside the Cathedral. The Cathedral will close at the following times on each day:

Sound Levels and Half Volume Sessions

Children's ear defenders are available to borrow on a first come first served basis. Please ask a member of staff in a high vis jacket when you arrive.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure there is a ratio of no more than four children to one adult in your group

Accessibility

There are fast-moving light projections and loud music throughout this experience. If you suffer from epilepsy or any other condition triggered by light and sound, this event may not be suitable for you.
