Go behind the scenes of what goes on on the working sheep farm during the busy lambing season! You'll have a chance to meet the lambs as well as a guided tour of pre and postnatal fields, and you'll find out more about the equipment used during lambing season. You'll be introduced to lambs who may only be a few hours old and others a few days old.
Visitors are welcome to see and get hands-on with some of the things done during lambing season. You'll get a glimpse at some of the processes involved including numbering lambs/ewes and taking sheep from one field to another. There is no pressure if you don't want to get involved, you can simply watch if that's more your style!
Get the ultimate spring experience watching lambs skipping around the fields! This is a wonderful family activity or something to do with your friends or partner.

This was my second visit to Church Farm, having previously booked ‘Sheep Herding’. On this occasion I took my Mum along for the Lambing Live Experience - it doesn’t come much more live than watching twin lambs being born. We were very lucky with the timing of our booking, but everyone gets the opportunity to visit the mothers and lambs; my highlight stroking the ‘orphan’ lambs. The experience is run by extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, making it suitable for almost every age group.

The lambing experience was great ! Becky gave us a very warm welcome and explained in detail every step involved in the lambing season. It was interesting and fun - my 10 and 12 year old boys thought it was brilliant. We especially enjoyed the cuddles with some day old orphans.

I booked this experience for my partner and I and it was absolutely amazing! The host, Harriet, was so lovely and made sure to include everyone, which we really appreciated. 😌 We got the chance to learn about lambing, which was really interesting and then got to interact with them.
