Are you on the good or naughty list this year? One way to guarantee you're in Santa's good books is by making him his very own chunky knit hat!
Join Jacki from the Woolly Badger to knit a festive Santa hat to a soundtrack of pure festive feels. Think Mariah, Shakin’ Stevens, Slade - Spotify and your host will be going in...
With the option to knit your hat flat and seam it, or knit it in the round, this workshop is suitable for everyone from confident beginners up to seasoned knitters who just fancy a bit of fun. You'll all make pompoms to go on at the end (which is far easier than it looks!).
Your group will begin by looking through the hat pattern together so everyone's clear about what they're doing. Next, you'll cast and get knitting. Jacki will be on hand to help out with things like changing colours, decreasing stitches and making the pompoms. By the end you'll have a lovely Santa hat - and a stomach full of festive treats.
Yarn, needles, and patterns are all included. Since it’s Christmas, there will obviously be mince pies a-plenty (including gluten-free mince pies, because nobody should miss out on that mincemeat-y joy). Your host will also be bringing along lots of tea and biscuits - because tea, knitting, and a nice sit down are some of the best things in life.

It was amazing to get into the festive spirit by listening to Christmas music, nibbling on mould wine and most importantly knitting a Santa's hat. I am so grateful for the workshop. The host is very friendly and supportive. I was able to take home all of the supplies (including the instructions) we used so I have the option to make another one as a gift. Thank you so much 🎅
