EmailCome and enjoy an evening of Lino cutting, where you will make your own original mini print ready to be gifted or framed.
In this workshop, you will use a creative botanical set-up to sketch, compose, plan and print your own botanical print. Using the unique exotic plants of Wild Leaf as inspiration, you will be guided on how to plan and use lino printing materials to create your own unique lino print.
The workshop will begin by drawing quick sketches to warm up and build ideas. You will use different lino tools to make marks, carve out your design and print onto natural papers using a mini-press or a choice of hand tools. Your final mini-print will be ready to mount onto a card or frame.

This was a fantastic introduction to lino printing. Safa was helpful and friendly. The workshop created a fantastic environment to be creative and experiment with printing. We all completed our blocks and make lots of prints using different tools and materials. I never felt rushed, and had plenty of play around with new techniques. I have already recommended Safa’s workshops to friends!

The teacher was really well-prepared and explained all the processes clearly with excellent demonstrations. I am a teacher so I know how successful she was at leading the course, encouraging our efforts and paying close attention to our practical work. She was very friendly and personable, with great social skills. There was a lovely atmosphere and the plant shop was a beautiful venue. I shall certainly take this skill further.

This was a perfect introduction to Lino printing. I went to it with no experience and Safa was so friendly and supportive. She gave great guidance to help everyone leave with a print they were really happy with. Great fun, lovely atmosphere and I would definitely go again!
