(7)

Have you ever wondered how hammered texture rings are made?

This workshop is perfect for both beginners and people who are early in their silversmithing practice. Maybe you've done a workshop or two before and want to experiment a little with texture? Or you have a birthday coming up and want to make something extra special.

No previous experience is necessary but it will be interesting enough for people who do have a little experience.

** In this workshop you will learn:**

  • How to work out your ring size
  • Tool use
  • Basic measuring and cutting
  • Applying texture and the effect it has on metal
  • Basic properties of silver and precious metals
  • Soldering and annealing
  • Filing and polishing

Silversmithing is an empowering, elemental craft. Bring your ideas to life and create something beautiful and unique that's made to last a lifetime.

Vegan refreshments will be provided and the shop is wheelchair accessible.

The minimum physical ability that's necessary for the task is good motor skills and using small light hammers in a repetitive way.

Minimum fitness level required.

Age restrictions: 18+

Adult (Adult) £80
