GreenStage Live Session - Wild Leaf

Bristol-based GreenStage holds events in Bristol promoting some of the best local music and plant shops. We'll be hosting a series of live sessions at Wild Leaf Plant Shop on Gloucester Road. Music Lineup:

Play Misty

Play Misty is a folk / Americana trio based in Bristol, England and Cardiff, Wales. Their sound is a modern take on these genres inspired by CSNY, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt and more.

GWYD ION

If Tash Sultana and Tom Misch raised a kid in Wales you’d get GWYD ION, Tirianwen and Gary Clarke Jnr are also present in the sound of this bilingual artist who blends soulful singing with blues and soul-inspired guitar. His set is a combination of layered improvisational guitar and vocals, reworked classics, and his own Welsh language songs.

Pretend Freinds

An irreverent bunch of Bristol rebels with a knack for raising hell with our fast folk shenanigans.

Inspired by the punk-folk rock of the Levellers, drawing on the outlaw spirit of Colter Wall and topped with a sprinkle of Stuff Smith fiddle wizardry, we blend hooky melodies with heartfelt lyrics and raucous rhythms to deliver energetic and fun-filled performances.
