This was a present so can’t comment on value. But we really enjoyed it - we know Bristol well but we took back routes we’d never been on - these were surprisingly interesting. James was a brilliant guide - very knowledgeable and engaging . We would recommend this to someone new to Bristol especially - but it was interesting and informative to us old hands as well. Many thanks James for an excellent afternoon’s walk.
A very interesting and inspiring walk, loved the connection to nature. Even though my friend and I are Bristolian, James introduced us to parts of Bristol we didn’t know about. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the city. Thanks James for a lovely afternoon.
Thoroughly enjoyed the walk with James. Interesting, informative and relaxing. There was no haste, James went at a pace where the group could fully take in the sights and interests of Bristol. We were encouraged to connect with our senses during the walk, which was lovely.
As a single walker, James was inclusive and involved each participant in the group discussions. I would recommend this experience.
If you like history and you like nature, then this is the tour for you. James brought the history of Bristol to life and showed us hidden corners which I'd never seen, despite living in Bristol for years. A great way to spend an afternoon (Jan 2025).
James, thanks for an excellent tour, we and the kids really enjoyed it. Great pace, very knowledgeable and relaxed. Would definitely recommend. Also enjoying your website. Have a look at Spring watch this week - they have a piece about the Royal Fort Gardens and bumblebees!
James was interesting, entertaining and engaging. Fun few hours.
Excellent experience. I learnt more for places I know and I discover hidden places in area I thought I know pretty well. This is so much more than a walk and James is an amazing guide. I highly recommend the Bristol Cityscape Walking Tour. Open your senses to fully enjoy this experience.
James gave us a fantastic tour, showing us beautiful places in Bristol I never knew existed. He was a passionate host, entertaining us with interesting facts throughout the experience. Would highly recommend.
Really enjoyed the Urban walk! the routes around the city were ones that i hadn't previously come across despite living in Bristol for several years. James did a great job of calling out interesting things to learn about. Highly recommend!
I’ve lived in Bristol for 20 years and I still learned so much on this tour. It was great to see the City with a fresh perspective and remind myself of the amazing green spaces we have on our doorstep. James brings a lot of enthusiasm and knowledge Would recommend.

My mission is to get people outside. It makes us healthier, happier, and solves most of life's problems! But for many, the only connection to nature is watching it through a screen. I want people to experience first-hand just how beautiful this country really is.
Ours is a land of ancient stones and enchanted forests; druids and dragons; hobbits and Hogwarts. There is magic in this land, and I'm here to help you find it. All you have to do is step out your door - and let nature do the rest!
