How to get there

Facilities

COVID-19 guidelines

  • This is an outdoor location in fresh air where social distancing is very easy to achieve
  • The nearest wash and toilet facilities are at the Aust services (2 minute drive away) for hand washing

On the day

  • Parking location: Passage Road, Aust (nearest postcode BS35 4BG)
  • Access by car (public footpath from Severn Beach currently closed)
  • Park along the path or road (where the path runs out). You will gather where a small road leads along with the last houses at bottom of the hill (What3Words: junction.conceals.guarding)
  • The beach can be wet and muddy (even in summer), outdoor footwear such as supportive walking boots or wellington boots recommended. Wear warm layers and waterproofs

He has been studying urban peregrine falcons for the past 20 years and is the author of Urban Peregrines. He's got an educational background so is always on a quest to learn new things.
