In this scent blending workshop, experience the sensory delight of creating your own festive-themed aromatherapy candle to take home and enjoy. Take your pick from a range of seasonal inspired essential oils on offer, to create a scent that will evoke a nostalgic and cosy atmosphere.
Your host will provide as much guidance as needed so you create a beautiful, balanced aroma for your candle which you will make with soy wax in a reusable amber glass jar, with a lid. You will learn the art of perfumery and how to blend base notes, mid notes and top notes.
What to expect:

- Create your unique Christmas scent
- Use your Christmas scent to make a soy wax candle
- Enjoy festive treats such as mince pies and mulled wine to get into the Christmas spirit
Candle making is a great skill to learn, and a brilliant craft top create homemade gifts for friends and loved ones.
To make the experience extra festive, mince pies, sweet treats and mulled wine/non-alcoholic refreshments will be served.

COVID-19 guidelines
Attendees are invited to wear masks (which are available from host), should they wish. hand sanitiser will be available. Numbers are limited to permit more space for all.
On the day
- Essential oils can spill so please don't wear your Sunday best.
- Feel free to bring an apron.
- Please do not arrive more than ten minutes before start of session. However, there is plenty to browse in the Prior shop if you do have time to kill.
