What happens at a Drink & Draw?
This event is all about making time to be creative in a fun and relaxed environment. Included in your ticket is welcome bubbles to kickstart that creativity and we'll begin the evening with some warm up drawing exercises and games. Then you'll be given a creative Christmas brief along with a variety of art supplies to make your own masterpiece. Feel free to bring your sketchbook if you'd prefer. The evening is perfect for a group outing, creative date or a solo adventure.
But I can't draw!?
No problem at all! This isn't a formal art class, it's about enjoying the process of being creative, getting together with your pals or trying something new! All levels are welcome.
Who is hosting?
Flic is a Birmingham based artist with a weakness for wine and doodling.
Can we get food?
The kitchen is closed for this event, you are welcome to bring snacks.
And what about the drinky's?
A glass of fizz is included in your ticket. Wine, beer and soft drinks will also be available to purchase.
What should I wear?
We won't be using wet art materials so don't worry about getting (that) messy ;)

I’ve been going to a few Drink & Draw since stumbling across it last summer. Each visit is an absolute joy, very engaging, a fantastic host maintaining a fun, relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect activity to do with friends, or a self date (an actual date too for a more creative evening). I’ve spent the year raving about it & won’t be stopping for a long time 😎 I’ve even managed to bring friends along & they’ve enjoyed it as much as I do ❤️

- Other stations Moor Street and New Street (22 min walk).
- Your host wouldn't advise driving so you can take full advantage of the evening.

Drink & Draw
This fun drawing social is hosted by Felicity Blades. Felicity is a Birmingham based artist with a weakness for white wine and doodling: two of the best things in life! Every Drink & Draw social revolves around a theme. Felicity is obsessed with pop culture so it's usually something silly!
Worried you don't have a creative bone in your body? Do not fear! This experience will tease it out of you. All abilities are welcomed – this is about having fun, socialising and not taking the art too seriously!
Felicity will get everyone warmed up with a nice glass of wine before going through some fun drawing exercises. As the drinks flow, you'll move through different mediums and subjects. Round off your experience with a free drawing section – choose one based on the theme or go off-script. Felicity encourages all kinds of creative thinking! Drink & Draw socials are typically held around Birmingham City and South Birmingham. Look out for the next one near you.
