Multi-coloured linoprinting in one session!

Looking for the perfect opportunity to unwind, get creative and learn some fun printmaking skills? This immersion into linoprint will do the trick!

Your printmaking workshop will be hosted by experienced teacher and Bristol-based printmaker Kate Miller. This workshop focuses on how to produce a multi-coloured print, using an abundance of top quality printing materials.

Choose whether to enjoy a focused session (2.5 hrs) designing, carving and printing your own artwork or extend to a full day (5 hrs) to allow you to work at a more mindful pace and develop your skills further with a more complex design

In this experience you will:

• Carve your own lino plates using soft cut lino
• Discover the technique of jigsawing your design to allow application of multiple colours
• Ink up your jigsaw plates with rollers and quality printing inks
• Print your linoprint using a Woodzilla press onto A4 Snowdon paper
• Go away with two copies of your own multicoloured linoprint - ready for hanging on the wall!

This workshop is perfect for all levels and abilities, with no experience needed. All materials, tools, tea and coffee are included - just bring along yourself and the urge to try something new!
