Create a Trio of Silver Stacking Rings | Jewellery making

Add a little handcrafted sparkle to your season and enjoy a spot of creativity, making your own unique trio of silver stacking rings.

Guided by an experienced tutor you'll transform silver wire into a set of stackable rings using traditional silver jewellery-making techniques.

Our friendly, purpose built studio is centrally located and well connected to transport links. Our silver jewellery courses are taught in small groups, of up to five students to enable creative, enjoyable learning with regular opportunities for 1:1 support and guidance from the tutor.

No previous experience required

What to expect:

A perfect introduction to basic jewellery making techniques such as soldering, forming, filing and texturing.
Perfect for complete beginners, as well as those with previous experience.
All materials, refreshments and gift packaging included.

COVID-19 guidelines

You’ll be provided with all the equipment needed to create your wax ring. All workplaces and equipment will be sanitised before the experience. Your experience will be run in smaller groups than usual to allow space for social distancing.

On the day

No previous experience is needed and all beginners are welcome. Although our workshops are intended for adults we do accept bookings for 16-17 years old who must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

How to get a refund

Can't make it? We understand things happen! You can cancel and get a full refund up to 5 days before your experience.

Please note that this refund policy does not apply to gift bookings. You may reschedule your gift if outside the time period stated above. Please note that Yuup gift cards are valid for redemption for 12 months, and if not redeemed by this date, you will get a Yuup credit added to your Yuup account equivalent to the unspent value of the Yuup gift card less a Yuup administration fee of 20%.

Flux

Flux is an independent gallery in Bristol dedicated to good quality craft.

It stocks unique jewellery and hand crafted art all made by independent makers, many located in the west country.

The gallery was opened by Sarah, a maker herself, in 2016 and stocks an array of jewellery, ceramics, glass, screenprints and abstract paintings. Sarah has been teaching people to make their own jewellery for over thirteen years.

Sarah is the owner of Flux and your host. She has been passionate about arts and crafts since childhood.This led her to completing a fine art degree, then training as a teacher and continuing to explore various crafts until she discovered metalsmithing and began to create her own precious metal jewellery over twenty years ago. Sarah has been teaching jewellery and smithing techniques for creating bespoke pieces for over fifteen years.
