Learn a new skill and make a gorgeous macramé wall hanging! This macramé workshop will teach you a number of macramé skills so that you can create a feathery macramé leaf wall hanging.
Your host is artist and macramé maker Aggy from Knots and Stalks!
Macramé is a fun and creative craft and is a great way to unwind. In this 3-hour workshop, you will spend time in the St. Werburgh's Community Centre's workshop room, where your host will teach you how to create your own beautiful leaf wall hanging.
Aggy will help you with tips and tricks for your design, before setting you off to choose from a selection of colourful recycled cotton cords for your macramé. Once you're set with your colours, you'll be guided through the knot-making process as you get hands-on with your materials.
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a feeling of satisfaction and a completed stylish piece of wall décor!
