Copper Foiling Workshop - Make a Candle Lamp

Set the tone of a room with a Stained Glass Candle Lamp of your own design. Choose from a beautiful selection of colourful glass and learn the copper-foiling technique; a modern construction process that allows you to create 3D shapes using copper tape and solder. You will create a design for the forward facing panel of your four-sided lamp and choose textured or patterned glass for the other three sides.

• Access to numerous design options, with the ability to create your own design under Catherine's guidance
• All materials and use of tools included

There will be lots of designs to choose from, or you can create your own with Catherine's guidance. You will build a mirrored base into your lamp to help your candle illuminate the colours. The result will be a one-off eye-catching piece of functional art. Your candle lamp will have a 10cm square footprint and be 15cm tall. A free candle will be provided to complete the lamp.

This workshop utilises the full process from start to finish, and you will receive all of the necessary information to continue copper-foiling with confidence should you wish to pursue it further.

All materials and use of tools are included. Maximum of 6 students. Minimum age to attend is 16.
