This beautiful countryside retreat set amongst the rolling hills of the Southdowns National Park just outside of Brighton includes: Cold water breathwork workshop Individual plunge pool guidance with a qualified cold water breathwork coach Meditation Sauna Hot tub Refreshments and lunch
Cold water immersion has many therapeutic benefits including reducing inflammation and pain, improving mood, dampening anxiety and increasing resilience. The brilliant breathwork teacher Daisy O'Clee is joining Becca on this retreat and she will run a workshop in cold water therapy including time in the temperature controlled plunge. We will also practise gentle meditation, warm up in the beautiful Wildhut sauna and hot tub and enjoy a delicious home cooked lunch to finish all in a beautiful countryside house and garden.
Cold Water Therapy Workshop Daisy will take you on a deep-dive into the world of cold water immersion. By the end of the session, you will know how to work with your body, not against it, to find mental clarity and calm by slowly and intentionally exposing yourself to temperatures that mimic the sea in late spring. Learn how to use this therapy safely, by understanding what happens physiologically and psychologically when you enter the cold. Gain a clear understanding of the role of the nervous system and the science behind why gentle breathwork is the most powerful technique to help you respond to the cold, rather than react to it.
Daisy is passionate about sharing how and why cold water is such a powerful tool in helping us overcome stress and live life to the full. Ultimately, this is about the potential to enjoy more of the good stuff: connection, joy, resilience, focus and energy. Daisy is trained in the Buteyko breathing method and as a cold water therapy instructor with Breatheolution.

Hello, I'm Becca! I run nature inspired meditation retreats in my beautiful secret wellbeing garden in Ovingdean which is next to the Southdowns National Park and 10 minutes outside Brighton. My garden is a haven of blooms and wildlife with a kitchen garden from which I create my sauna treatments and therapies. The focal point of the garden is my secluded wellbeing garden complete with a Wildhut sauna, a temperature controlled plunge and hot tub to relax and reconnect. My retreats always include a breathwork and meditation (I am a qualified breathwork and meditation teacher) along with a seasonal lunch and lots of lovely chat.
