Evolution Drone Light Show: Wolverhampton

The show was brilliant however waiting 2hours in traffic with people driving dangerously was unacceptable an was not well managed

The venue was amazing, filled with food stalls, drink tents and a funfair. Although I parked off-site, it was an easy walk with quick entry into the venue.
The show was amazing, well co- ordinated & luckily for the audience, the weather remained dry

Great event, other than the traffic

We visited for my sons first birthday with numerous family members. Was great for the kids and the fun fair too. It’s brilliant how the drones move in formation and you can see animals actually moving.

Excellent futuristic evening of entertainment highly recommended

We were very well looked after on the night. Good stewarding. Drones were good. Needed a more engaging narrative or story.

I really enjoyed the evening from the great choice of food and drink, the fun fair and the show itself was amazing. The only negative feedback that I could possibly say is that the show was postponed by half an hour, other than that it was a really good night out and I would definitely attend this event again.

It was a beautiful experience 😍 its not just for kids even the adults enjoyed it. Its a visual treat ✨️ flying the drones so close with such amazing sync was just wow 👌

the display was amazing i enjoyed it so did my children i think better than a firework display very busy traffic wise however we walked would go again to watch a different story.well done

The experience was great, kids really loved it, a lot of good places to eat and drink. My only reasons for not putting 3 stars are parking too slow and the drone show could have been longer otherwise pretty cool! Really enjoyed

Traffic in Wolverhampton was horrendous. Not the organisers fault but was extremely difficult to park and get there but the drone show was absolutely fabulous!

Brilliant show, but could be slightly longer.

The drone show was excellent! The show was delayed by 45 mins as people were still queuing to enter the grounds to park. Parking was a difficult experience - it took over an hour queuing to enter the grounds and then at least an hour to leave.

Wonderful experience! It was mind blowing to watch- felt like I’d stepped into the future! The music and voice over were perfect too.
Overall a brilliant show and I would go again (as many times as I could). I look forward to more shows and what amazing outdoor raves/ dance parties that could be created using the drones!

fun and interesting show to watch but was short. Also took a lot longer to get there due to traffic, but they delayed the start so as many people as possible could see it

Parking and traffic jams where horrific! It took 2 hours to do a 10 minute journey.
The drone show was truly amazing and would highly recommend to all.

Really impressive, wasn’t sure what to expect and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Lots of food and drink outlets. The organisation was great. The drone show was incredible, never seen anything like it.

Fab, accessing site was a nightmare however, which impacted the length of time we spent on site. Spectacular show though, we loved it!

Great space and well used. The display was great. Lots if places to eat. Although I didn't use them there was plenty of toilets.
Parking was a nightmare however not sure if this was a venue fault or road works. We had to abandon our car to get to the display on time! Thank you.

Great event, really innovative. Only snag was the poor traffic management, I’d paid for parking but ended up abandoning my car half a mile away and walking.

Always wanted to find something like this show, something new and breathtaking. Very enjoyed show, could be a bit longe. But anyway thank you very much for a great time

A lovely experience apart from the traffic chaos so thanks for delaying the start.

The only negative was the traffic there delaying the start, when we'd compensated for this and arrived early. Then having over an hour wait to get off the car park following the event with children. The actual show was amazing.

Excellent show, very well done and enjoyed every moment of it. The traffic to the parking and venue was terrible though, so luckily the drone show started late so we could still see it.

The show was brilliant but the car parking was an absolute shambles. It took us hours to park and then hours to get off the car park.

Loved this experienced. Just seeing the images appear in the sky with the music & the ambience it was very thought provoking & awe inspiring. My family loved it & preferred it to fireworks which are loud & smokey. I felt the length was just about right & about the same as a firework show & the same price. Along with the food outlets which weren’t too badly priced & the fairground which was cash & cashless thankfully, we loved the experience. Exactly as described on the website.

May have been a hassle battling traffic to get there but amazing display and well worth it

A fab show. Struggled to hear the comentry but the ligting and drone effects were awesome. Seemed to be over in a flash. I could have stayed engrossed for way longer. A craft or Christmas market would have added to the experience as it was just food, drinks and a very limited funfair

Would definitely recommend. However my 1 criticism is parking. I was directed to pay £15. to park on Craddock Road - unlit parking, risks from a security standpoint when a single generator light fixture would have helped.

The show was very good and told the story would have enjoyed it more if the drone show would have been a bit longer nevertheless it was an enjoyable evening

Amazing show. Really fascinating tale told with lights and images morphing into splendid forms. A shame it took hours to get in but that is no fault of the company…

The drone show itself was incredible. That alone gets 5 stars. However I’ve marked it down because it took us well over an hour to get out of the car park which spoiled the whole evening as it was very late as the show had been delayed already. The racecourse needs to work out how to get people out of the car park more efficiently as that’s the part of thing that ruins the whole night.

Apart from the traffic jams writhing 2 miles of the ground it was a fantastic experience like nothing I have seen before,the narration was excellent,the music was excellent and strangely emotional,how it was all put together was mind blowing,I would definitely book again to see the drone show.

Great event with the drones and funfair. The only letdown was attempting to leave in the car at 9.pm and having to wait 40 minutes because the cars weren't moving behind us. The carpark was prioritising the main carpark over ours. Not letting anyone out of our section till it was sorted by a very angry punter.😠

Lovely experience my son is 2 and daughter is 1 and they really enjoyed the drone show. Lovely atmosphere would definitely go again. The rides after was too noisy for the little ones so we left shortly after the show.

Overall a great experience. Parking at science centre was easy and well managed. Good variety of rides for my 3 year old. Lovely food stalls. Entry was easy and I liked the children's arm bands for safety. I was a bit frustrated that the show was pushed later as I had planned to arrive early to allow parking time etc. But overall we had a great time.

What a fantastic evening and can't say thank you enough for postponing the show slightly to give us and many more families time to get there due to traffic, crashes and road closure none of this was down to you but yet you gave as many families as possible the chance to make it.

Only negative was the delayed start - over half an hour - which was difficult with young children and made it a late night.
Show itself was excellent - well commentated and very informative as well as being a beautiful spectacle to watch.

The show was incredible. I could have watched it again and again.

Venue was good.
Traffic to the venue was chaos, we paid for prepaid parking and we ended up leaving the car on a housing estate 20mins away and walking in. It was chaos parking so worth giving 2hours to find a parking space! But the evening was clear and bright and it didn't disappoint!

Would recommend to everyone of all ages! Incredible!

bought it as a pre Xmas family treat, wasn't sure what to expect just hoped it wouldn't disappoint as we were all feeling under the weather.
we all thought it went really smoothly through the entrance and exit and the performance was outstanding

The only issue with the experience was traffic getting to the venue. Maybe buses from city centre (like at Edgbaston cricket ground for matches) would have helped. Plenty of food and drink outlets at reasonable prices. The display was amazing with commentary aimed at adults, which was refreshing

Actual experience of Evolution was really good. Was brilliant to think how all the brilliant displays were made my lots of little drones. Took our 3 year old and he really enjoyed working out the different pictures made in the sky. The traffic was horrendous to get to the venue. As we thought we would miss the show we parked the car in a side street and walked for 20 minutes, Glad we did even though we had pre booked parking, but it was just too much. Had a fab family night out. Well Done All

The experience was excellent, m happy i got to experience the sky coming to life, i also appreciate that the show started later because of the traffic and I'm happy you sent a message to let us know what was going on. I just wished it was abit longer after awe of all the drones and thr all the shapes they were making, I kinda missed the show, maybe a shapes display before the main show?

It was great. Loved the voice , the story and the message. Quiet emotional actually. Really enjoyed it and would love to see something like this again. Well done everyone .

Good organisation within the racecourse, but traffic build up outside venue was very difficult.

Great venue and show. Really well organised.....until we tried to leave! Getting out was always going to be hard given the amount of cars but 'our' car park seemed to be forgotten and nobody moved for almost an hour. Shame as it kind of put a damper on the night. Good otherwise!

Apart from the congestion with traffic experience was great. Expensive food and drink but otherwise highly recommend.

The show itself was good, but the location was not.. we queued for over two hours to attempt to park. In the end we gave up and parked in a sidestreet and walked half an hour to the event I had to intervene when someone began to drive into a security guard, and dragged him. There were people shouting abuse. Threatening members of staff and it was all very intimidating for myself and my family, but I felt terribly sorry for the security and the staff. I would like a refund for my parking.

The drone show was magical. Amazing to see them in real life after seeing so many on TV.

It was magical and I felt emotional it was really amazing and my 3 year old loved it expecially the dinasaur

Everything about the night was better than I hoped for, even the weather was ideal.

Found it very entertaining, good stalls available and fun fair was very reasonable. Ground space was good and not to muddy considering all the rain we have had. Would have like the drones to be a little longer say another 10 minutes but all in all a very good night out

The show itself was spectacular, the grounds were kept impeccably clean with staff collecting litter throughout. The food options were good and varied as were the fair rides! We had a fabulous time. Only negative was the journey to get there, due to multiple road closures in the area (preventing cars from driving through residential roads) this meant cars were bottle necked and queues were miles long! This meant some people never made it! For those that made it, I'm sure had a fantastic time

Great show!

Show was excellent however thought that the fairground should have been in darkness for a greater effect and sound quality could have been better as we stood in the middle we could not really hear what was going on. Great venue would have been good if drone stalls and things for drone enthusiasts but all in all very good and would attend again. No fair grounds next time.

Amazing show, very creative. Great to watch something so different. The creative team should be applauded. My whole family enjoyed it. Sadly it was over too quickly we all wanted more!
The venue car parking was chaos and a shambles on leaving. Plenty of staff but no direction, traffic didn't move. We sat for half an hour without moving. I wouldn't go to that venue again it spoilt an otherwise brilliant evening.

Only thing was that the buildup could have been better with just some good drone flights or a lazer light show especially when the start was delayed although for the right reasons.
I felt it was worth the money though!

Fantastic show and really good to watch. Lots of vendors and choice. However no seating. Would jave been 5 stars if there was seating.

My daughter loved the rides that was available for her. As she is only 3 i was happy with the amount of rides she could actually go on.
The light show was good and if it wasnt for the 45 minute delay for the show to start the night would of been brilliant.
45 minutes is a while to wait after having already done rides and food meaning there was nothing else to do but wait and get cold with a group of tired kids.

The experience started 40 minutes late and with small children this was quite frustrating. Leaving the venue was chaos with a pushchair.
The drone show was absolutely amazing!

The build up music was too long before the actual drone show given it was a cold night. The actual evolution story was good fun, I only wished it could have been longer. The drone formations were great and creative following the narrative well.

Loved the show & the Evolution subject. Sound was hard to hear at times, as echoed around the stadium. Parking/traffic/access chaos with huge queues & traffic, cars parked all over the place.

My son loved this, i thought it was good value for money too. Great night.

Regular updates in the lead up to event and also on the evening itself, once traffic issues were realized, were brilliant. Received text message informing start would be delayed slightly. Both reassuring and much appreciated. Can't recall that level of customer service at any previous event attended. Hat's off to the organisers Yupp for excellent customer service. To be fair, traffic issues will always be an occurrence when attending an event attracting so many spectators. That is inevitable.

Only down fall was parking, as traffic was horrendous and we ended up parking the car 15 minutes away. So didn’t use the voucher I paid for. But the show it’s self with all the fair etc was spot on !! Well done, reminded me of Disney land Paris.. :) would definitely book again..

We loved evolution. It was so clever, we were fortunate to be near the front and so had the benefit of the sound which made a difference to the overall atmosphere. It was probably more for an older audience in terms of the content and theme but our children enjoyed the movement and story of the images in the sky. We would definitely go to another event.

A brilliant show, creative and innovative - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately the lack of planning around transport and parking put a bit of a low on the evening. With more thought and work on that this would be a superb event.

Fantastic venue and experience. The drone show was so mesmerising to watch. I especially enjoyed the story of Evolution too. I highly recommend going to this - this new form of entertainment is going to evolve in our lifetime. Great for all ages too :)
