You start your walking tour in the vibrant New England area, where the charming streets are filled with an eclectic mix of art, history, and modern flair. This area is home to some of Brighton’s most unique and colourful street art, which adds a creative touch to the city's architecture. As you stroll through the streets, you’ll pass quirky cafes and independent galleries, all nestled alongside traditional Victorian houses. The area's blend of old and new sets the tone for the rest of your journey.
From New England, we meander into the lively North Laine district, a bohemian hub that’s a true reflection of Brighton’s alternative spirit. The narrow, cobbled streets are lined with independent shops, vintage stores, and vibrant street art. As you explore, you’ll feel the energy of this creative neighbourhood, where local artists, musicians, and makers showcase their talents.
Next, we will make our way to Pavilion Gardens, a tranquil green space surrounded by one of the city's most iconic landmarks, the Royal Pavilion. This exotic palace, with its Indian-inspired architecture and lush gardens, offers a striking juxtaposition to the surrounding urban landscape.
As we leave the gardens, we'll head towards The Lanes, one of Brighton’s most famous areas. These narrow, winding alleys are filled with a mix of boutiques, antique shops, and cafes, offering the perfect spot for a little shopping or people-watching.
Finally, your tour ends at the promenade, where the soothing sounds of the sea and the expansive view of the Brighton coastline await. Whether you choose to take a moment on the pebbled beach or stroll along the iconic Brighton Pier, the sea offers a perfect finale to your tour.
