On this tasting tour of Birmingham Brewery Company, you will be taking a closer look at the processes behind how beer is made.
Under your host's expert wing, you'll be given fascinating facts behind the bottle, before rounding off your tour with a chance to taste their artisan and craft beers!
In this experience, you will:
- Hear from your host about a day in the life of a brewer
- See all of the brewing equipment and find out how each piece works
- Learn about how their beer is made and why each step in the process is important
- Try four different beers during a tutored tasting session
- Discover how to identify different flavours in the beer
This tour and tasting lasts approximately one hour, but you’re welcome to stay for a drink afterwards and ask any questions you may have!

The brewery tour was very fun. It was really informative and the price included 4 quarter-pint samples plus a full-size pint. Really great value for money. The guy giving the tour knew so much and was clearly very passionate about his work. My first time at Birmingham Brewery Company and will definitely be back again.

Lovely way to spend an hour or so. Stayed on for a couple of beers after. So, a lovely afternoon. For those that enjoy a walk (or very easy cycle) with beer at the end, you can follow the cycle path from Cannon Hill Park all the way to the brewery (only crossing 2 roads). Oh, there was street food available too. We went on Sunday. I'm not sure about other days. Recommended.

Alex was a brilliant tour guide. We've visited a lot of breweries and distilleries, but took away some new information about the brewing process and really enjoyed the whole experience.

On the day
- Your host is located on Stirchley Trading Estate, at the end of Hazelwell Road
- Trains run frequently from Birmingham New Street to Bournville Station and take 10 minutes, followed by an 8-10 minute walk
- There are lots of bus routes which are a 5-10 minute walk to the brewery
- Your host also has plenty of car parking spaces available
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour is scheduled and let your host know you've arrived.
