Want to explore The Strawberry Line or another lovely South West spot by bike? Why not round off a happy day exploring with a hearty picnic too? Let your hosts take it from here...
In this experience:
You’ll start your experience with a briefing from one of The Strawberry Line team - they’ll explain your chosen route, tell you what to look out for, give you plenty of tips and get you set up on your bike. They’ll also be available on the phone throughout, in case you have any problems with your bike.
After your briefing, it's time to set off on your adventure. The Strawberry Line's mostly traffic-free level path is one option made for novice cyclists. This peaceful route runs for 9 miles from Yatton station to Cheddar offering an 18-mile round trip - the perfect day out! Along the way, pass orchards, woodlands, valleys, wetlands and a nature reserve. If you're feeling adventurous, let those limbs take you off-piste and lap up scenic views elsewhere.
Enjoy a day out in nature with a picnic as a Yuup extra - it's going to be one glorious ride!

We had such a fun time. The host was really friendly and helpful. The ride was beautiful, with very few roads to cross and mainly flat. We cycled Yatton to Axbridge and back. The picnic was generous and tasty.
Had a great day with the 2 bikes we hired. Staff are great and the picnic they provided was just what we needed on our cycle to cheddar!
Brilliant
Really friendly guys at the bike pick-up, good picnic and really nice route. I am a really novice cycler and managed it - even though we got soaked coming back! I would certainly come back.
