Beginner's Stone Setting: Make a Bezel Set Ring

EmailPick a stone and create a stacking ring that you've set yourself! This jewellery-making experience is perfect for both total beginners to the craft, and for people who have done some basic classes before! You will have a brilliant day and come away with something unique and gorgeous to wear.
What to expect:
- Make a slim stacking ring to size
- Choose a stone to set into your ring
- Make the setting to fit the stone
- Set the stone using a bezel pusher
- Polish your finished piece
There will be a small selection of new and second-hand stones to choose from in different sizes and colours. Where possible Silver & Steel source stones second-hand to limit the impact of the mining industry. All the silver used in workshops is 100% recycled.
There will be light refreshments available on the day.

Bethany is the silversmith behind both Silver & Steel and her personal jewellery brand Bethany May Silver. Down to earth and welcoming Bethany loves sharing her passion for jewellery making with makers of all levels. Having learnt from Alice Goldsack, herself a student of the prominent Diana Porter, Bethany cares deeply about the silversmithing culture and community in Bristol. After years of creating her own work, Bethany developed engaging workshops for beginner jewellers and has taught people of all ages and abilities. Bethany is an experienced creative workshop teacher, educator and trainer who will ensure the experience is fun, memorable and participants leave feeling empowered.
