Artsy Party Brum is a Birmingham-based paint and sip party. They bring a splash of creativity, good vibes and great music to all their experiences. There's no need to have had any experience painting before, Artsy Party Brum encourages all different artistic abilities to get involved. They prioritise the fun in painting! Enjoy this opportunity to kick back and relax, natter away with friends and find your creative flow.
My name is Ashanti Anderson and I am the founding director of Artsy Party Kidz CIC and Artsy Party Brum. I am also a qualified teacher and a creative.
My passion for art began many years ago and over the years, I have seen the importance of nurturing creative confidence in young people. Artsy Party Kidz is a concept I developed during a time of reflection during the first few months of the pandemic, between March and June 2020. By July 2020, I began putting Artsy Party Kidz to practice, running workshops for community groups catering to the children of essential key workers, to help uplift and inspire children during the scary and uncertain times they were facing. This year, I have been delivering workshops and events for children across the city and have developed Artsy Party Kidz into it into what it is today!
